Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim said during the launch of Sistem Pengurusan Integriti & Governans (SPINE) that the government machinery, including the Chief Secretary to the Government and all government agencies, must cultivate a culture of integrity at every level.
Dilancarkan bersempena dengan program Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku yang berlangsung dari 5-7 Disember, Sistem Pengurusan Integriti dan Governans (SPINE) merupakan inisiatif strategik baharu Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM) bagi memperkukuh ekosistem integriti, memantapkan tadbir urus serta memerangi rasuah dalam sektor awam.
“Under the Integrity Health Check concept, SPINE will evaluate an organisation’s health level through self-assessment in the aspects of integrity, governance and anti-corruption and submit data-based improvement measures,” Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim said in a statement, adding that SPINE was designed to fulfil the public sector’s current needs.
SPINE outlines a comprehensive approach, including identifying gaps and weaknesses, implementing corrective intervention, reassessment and accreditation to organisations that show excellent performance in integrity compliance.
